Important Note: All reservations and rental applications are subject to review by the Lavonia Downtown Development Authority and/or Lavonia City Hall. Please note that alcohol is not allowed on city property.

Downtown Weldon Park (Gazebo)

Located in the heart of downtown Lavonia, the Gazebo at Weldon Park offers a picturesque setting perfect for weddings, photoshoots, intimate gatherings, and small performances.

📌 Reservation Process: To reserve the Gazebo, applicants must complete an application. Forms are available online HERE or can be picked up in person at the Historic Train Depot Office.

 

Note: The Lavonia Farmers Market takes place at the Gazebo every Wednesday and Saturday morning. Any scheduled events must accommodate the market during these times.

​​​​Lavonia City Park

Looking for a fun and family-friendly venue? Lavonia City Park offers two reservable pavilions, playground access, picnic areas, and plenty of green space for your guests to enjoy.

✅ Great for reunions, birthdays & casual gatherings
✅ Includes bathrooms, electricity, trash containers & water
✅ Accessible parking & scenic setting

📌 Reservation Fee: $25 per pavilion (Pavilions 1 & 2 available)
📌 Application: Available online HERE or at the Historic Train Depot Office.

 

Please Note: The playground equipment cannot be reserved. The Splash Pad and Splash Pad Pavilion are also not available for private reservations.

Bear Creek Community Center

📍 610 Bear Creek Road, Lavonia, GA 30553

Looking for a spacious indoor venue for your event? The Bear Creek Community Center is an excellent choice for everything from weddings and reunions to business meetings and banquets.

✅ Accommodates up to 140 guests (seating for 112)
✅ Fully equipped kitchen & serving area
✅ Indoor comfort with flexible setup options

📌 Rental Fee: $300 (8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.)
📌 Deposit: $200 (refundable upon cleanup approval)
📌 Booking: First-come, first-served basis – early reservations recommended!

Downtown Street Closures for Events

Are you planning a community event, festival, or parade in Downtown Lavonia? Street closures may be available for qualifying events.

✅ Ideal for markets, parades, and large gatherings
✅ Encourages foot traffic and downtown engagement
✅ Approval required from affected businesses

📌 Application & Fees:

• Non-Profit Organizations: $50 fee + application required

• For-Profit (Downtown Businesses Only): $250 per street (East or West Main Street) + proof of event insurance

Old City Park

If you’re looking for a laid-back, first-come, first-served venue, Old City Park is a great option. Located off Hwy 59, this park is available free of charge and offers plenty of open space for casual gatherings.

✅ Perfect for spontaneous meetups & family picnics
